Legend of Zelda fans can now get their hands on one of the most iconic items in the franchise – the Majora’s Mask. The mask can be found in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild. But getting it is no easy task.
Where to find Majora’s Mask?
The Majora’s Mask can be found in the Floating Coliseum, located deep down under Hyrule in the Depths. But don’t think you can just go and grab it. Before you can lay your hands on the mask, you must face off against five Lynels, one at a time. Due to the difficulty of this showdown, it’s recommended to tackle this challenge late in the game when you have plenty of health, good armor, and the Master Sword.
How to face off against the Lynels?
The first four Lynels are relatively simple if you’ve fought any of these beasts elsewhere already. But the final Lynel sports some hefty armor that will require some bashing with heavy attacks from a big weapon. When you’re ready, enter the coliseum and take down the Lynels. Once you defeat them, you’ll be rewarded with a chest and an ancient eerie mask – Majora’s Mask.
What is Majora’s Mask?
As described in the game, Majora’s Mask is “an eerie mask passed down from ancient times. Wearing it makes it harder for certain enemies to spot you. It’s a rather rare find.”
How can Majora’s Mask help you?
Equipping Majora’s Mask allows you to move around enemies more easily without alerting them to your presence. It can be an extremely useful piece of equipment, so don’t hesitate to wear it when you’re in sticky situations.
Fans of the Legend of Zelda franchise know the importance of Majora’s Mask. It made its first appearance in one of the series’ most divisive entries, but it still has a special place in fans’ hearts.
