Vivo is set to expand its T-series of smartphones in India with the upcoming launch of the Vivo T2 5G series. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed the launch via a microsite on Flipkart and has given users a sneak peek into the design of the handset. The Vivo T2 5G is teased to feature an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 5G support. The phone will also have a dual rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash in two circular modules on its back panel. The display will feature a centre-aligned waterdrop notch. More details about the upcoming phone’s specifications will be revealed by Vivo in the coming days.
Design and Display
The Vivo T2 5G is teased to have a centre-aligned waterdrop notch and power and volume buttons on the right spine of the phone. The display specifications are expected to be revealed on April 5th. The phone was recently spotted on the Google Play Console with a model number Vivo V2222, suggesting a full-HD+ resolution display with a waterdrop notch. The display size, however, is yet to be revealed by the company.
Processor and Camera

The Vivo T2 5G is expected to be available in two storage variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The phone is speculated to run on Android 13. The phone is set to succeed the Vivo T1 5G that was launched last year. The Vivo T1 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.
