Samsung Galaxy A24: Latest Design Renders and Key Specifications Leaked

South Korean mobile manufacturing giant, Samsung, is set to expand its Galaxy A-series smartphone lineup with the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy A24 in Turkey. The company recently launched the Galaxy A14, Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones. Though the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G had already appeared on several certification websites and multiple leaks already highlighted key specifications of the smartphone, the company is yet to publicly unveil the upcoming device. According to a recent report by TechOutlook, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to launch globally by late April and will cost around $190 (roughly Rs. 16,000). The phone is expected to launch in the Indian market at the same time as well.

Design Renders and Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to sport a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2408) LCD display panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone is also expected to run Android 13 with One UI 5 on top. Additionally, the Galaxy A24 will reportedly be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, come equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The triple camera unit of the Galaxy A24 device is rumoured to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens, vertically arranged in single circular cutouts on the top-left of the back panel. Except for the front 13-megapixel camera, all the cameras are located on the back panel of the smartphone. To offer support for photography in low-light, the device is expected to have a circular LED flash unit next to the camera modules. The expected 13-megapixel front camera is to be housed in a centred waterdrop notch at the top of the display.

The Samsung Galaxy A24 will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The plastic body will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which may be placed on the right edge of the device. The device is also expected to come with a 3.5mm audio jack. With a weight of 195 grams, the smartphone is expected to measure 162.1mm x 77.6mm x 8.3mm in size.

Colours

A previous leak suggested that the model will be available in four colour options — Black, Dark Red, Light Green, and Silver. However, the Black and Light Green variants are seen in the newly leaked renders.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy A24’s specifications and price suggest that it is intended to be a mid-range smartphone. Samsung’s expansion of its Galaxy A-series smartphone lineup indicates that the company intends to compete strongly in the affordable smartphone market. The Samsung Galaxy A24’s release date is expected to be announced soon ahead of its official launch worldwide.
