Realme to Launch 11 Series and Narzo N53 in India this May, According to Reports

Chinese smartphone maker Realme is set to launch its latest flagship, the Realme 11 Pro series, on May 10, according to an announcement by the company on Thursday. The series is widely expected to include the Realme 11 Pro 5G and a Realme 11 Pro+ 5G model. These devices are expected to succeed the Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ which were released in November 2022. Now, according to reports, the Realme 11 Pro series will also launch in India in May, alongside two other phones – the Realme 11 5G and the Realme Narzo N53 smartphone.

Realme 11 Pro Series Specifications (Expected)

Colour Options

The Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ models will be available in three colour options – Astral Black, Oasis Green, and Sunrise Beige, according to reports.

The upcoming flagship models are expected to feature 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ will most likely be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series chipset.

The Realme 11 Pro+ 5G is expected to sport a triple rear camera unit consisting of a whopping 200-megapixel primary camera sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Meanwhile, the Realme 11 Pro 5G model is also equipped with a triple rear camera setup but with smaller sensors. The rear cameras of the vanilla Realme 11 Pro will include a 100-megapixel primary sensor along with two other 2-megapixel sensors. Both camera setups are expected to feature a 16-megapixel front sensor as well.

According to sources, the Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ will pack a 5,000mAh battery unit each. However, the Realme 11 Pro 5G model is likely to support 67W fast charging, whereas the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G model may support 100W fast charging.

The Realme 11 Pro 5G will only be available in a single 8GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage configuration in India. Meanwhile, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G is expected to launch in India in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage models.

Realme 11 5G Specifications (Expected)

Not much is known about the Realme 11 5G smartphone, but the reports suggest that it will come with 33W fast charging support. Rumors also suggest that the phone may feature a center-aligned circular camera module on the back and a punch-hole cutout on the upper-left corner for the display to house the selfie camera. It may also boot Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top.

Realme Narzo N53 Specifications (Expected)

The Realme Narzo N53 is likely to launch as the second Narzo N-series smartphone in India. According to reports, the device will be priced at INR 13,000 in India and will be available in Feather Black and Feather Gold colour options. The reports also suggest that the handset will be offered in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage variants.

The Realme Narzo N55 was launched earlier this month in the country starting at a price of INR 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. It is available in Prime Blue and Prime Black colorways.

Realme’s new lineup appears to pack some powerful specifications, including the rumoured high-end camera unit on the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, that could give its major competitors a run for their money. Only time will tell how well the devices perform in the market, but the purported specifications sure look impressive.
