Realme is set to launch its slimmest smartphone in India, the Narzo N53, on May 18. The launch will introduce the second phone in the Narzo N-series after the Realme Narzo N55, which was introduced earlier this year. Realme has teased several features of the upcoming Narzo N53 smartphone, including its slim body and two color variants – gold and black.
Design and Display
The Realme Narzo N53 will be the thinnest smartphone in Realme’s lineup, measuring just 7.49mm in thickness. The slim body makes it easier to handle and hold the phone. As mentioned earlier, it will be available in two color variants: gold and black. The golden version will be named California Sunshine and feature a gold filament coating.
The screen size and resolution of the Narzo N53 have not been revealed yet, but we can expect a high-resolution display similar to that of the Narzo N55.
Battery and Charging
The Narzo N53 comes with a 5,000mAh battery unit, which is the same as its predecessor, the Narzo N55. It features 33W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging support, which can charge the phone from zero to 50% in just 34 minutes. Additionally, the phone has an over-temperature protection feature to prevent overheating during charging or prolonged use.
Performance and Software
The Realme Narzo N53 does not have any confirmed specifications yet, but we can expect it to have similar performance capabilities as the Narzo N55. The Narzo N55 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. It operates on Android 13 out-of-the-box with Realme UI on top.
Pricing and Availability
Realme Narzo N53 is set to launch on May 18. The phone’s price has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be in line with its predecessor, the Narzo N55, which starts at Rs. 10,999. It will be available online on Amazon and the Realme website.
Final Thoughts
The Realme Narzo N53 is shaping up to be a promising addition to the budget smartphone segment in India. Its slim design and fast-charging capabilities make it a top contender in its price range. Realme has yet to reveal the phone’s full specifications, but we expect to get more details in the days leading up to its launch.
