The smartphone industry is abuzz with rumours of Realme C53’s possible launch in India. Though there has been no official confirmation from the company yet, an alleged poster of the phone has leaked online, hinting at key features and design. Design and Display
The leaked poster suggests that the Realme C53 will be available in a sea green colourway, in line with the Rainforest theme. The phone reportedly features a flat frame design, with the power and volume buttons located on the right edge. It also sports a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille at the bottom.
The front of the phone flaunts a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display, which will house a selfie camera. The 6.5-inch LCD screen may have a resolution of 720 pixels by 1600 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Camera
The rear camera consists of two circular modules, accompanied by an LED flash. While there is no information on the exact specifications of the lenses, the phone is expected to come with an impressive camera setup at an affordable price range.
Performance and Software
The Realme C53 is rumoured to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which may be expandable via microSD. According to reports, the phone may be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Additionally, the phone is said to run on the Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
Furthermore, the phone could boast a massive 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, as per information found on the NBTC certification website.
Realme C55’s New Rainforest Colourway
Realme recently launched a new Rainforest colour option for its C55 series. Along with the existing Rainy Night and Sunshower colourways, the phone now comes in a fresh design inspired by nature. The C55 packs a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD panel with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The device has a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and EMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage. Additionally, it features a triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary lens, a 2MP black and white lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera is 16MP and is housed in a hole-punch cutout. The phone comes with a mammoth 5000mAh battery with 18W quick charging support.
Price and Availability
The Realme C53 is expected to launch in India soon. While there is no information on the pricing yet, the phone is rumoured to be one of the most affordable smartphones in Realme’s lineup.
