The PlayStation download charts for April 2023 have been revealed, and the top spot for PS5 in both the US/Canada and the EU went to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Dead Island 2 debuted in the second spot, while Minecraft Legends failed to crack the top 10. Meanwhile, GTA V was once again one of the most downloaded games for both PS4 and PS5, while The Last of Us Part II was the top-downloaded PS4 game across all regions. It’s worth noting that while GTA V and Minecraft are both several years old at this point, they continue to remain in the top 10 for downloads. It also looks like Minecraft Legends may not have made as big of a splash as many had anticipated, failing to make the top 10 list across both PS4 and PS5 in April. These charts often provide interesting insights into which games are still popular long after their release, as well as which new releases have managed to make a significant impact with players. As we head into the summer months, it will be interesting to see which new titles manage to break into the top 10 and which long-running games continue to hold strong.
