Blizzard Entertainment is already hard at work developing the next major update for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. Titled Fractures in Time, the upcoming update promises to take players on a thrilling adventure through time to prevent the emergence of a deadly foe known as Murazond, and to face off against some of the Warcraft universe’s most formidable foes.
Dawn of the Infinite: The Mega Dungeon
One of the most exciting features of the Fractures in Time update is the introduction of a new mega-dungeon called Dawn of the Infinite. This eight-boss dungeon will take players on a journey through time to prevent the Infinite Dragonflight from triggering Nozdormu’s transformation into the evil Murazond. Along the way, players will face off against past versions of current baddie Iridikron and the monstrous proto-dragon Galakrond. Galakrond, known as the greatest foe the dragon aspects ever faced, played a significant role in the origin story of the dragon aspects. Now that he has made his way into the game, players are eager to experience the epic battle.
Dawn of the Infinite dungeon will only be playable on Mythic difficulty, similar to other mega-dungeons like Legion’s Return to Karazhan, Battle for Azeroth’s Operation: Mechagon, and Shadowlands’ Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. Additional details about Dawn of the Infinite are still scarce. Blizzard has yet to reveal much about the dungeon, but has promised that it will be a thrilling and challenging experience for players.
Other Exciting Features
Blizzard has announced several other exciting features that will be included in the Fractures in Time update. One of these is a new activity called Whelp Daycare, where players can guide five dragon whelps as they grow and learn more about each dragonflight while earning additional rewards.
The update will also introduce a new specialization for Evokers called Augmentation, which is a unique buff-focused DPS spec that has never been seen in the game before. Additionally, the Warlock class will expand to all remaining non-Dracthyr races, including Pandaren, Zandalari Trolls, Night Elves, Draenei, Tauren, and more alongside a quest to unlock a new imp customization.
Blizzard has also promised talent updates and balance changes for Mages, Rogues, Holy Paladins, and more as part of the update. These balance changes will ensure that players can continue to enjoy smooth gameplay and a challenging experience.
When Will the Update Be Released?
Blizzard has not yet announced a release date for the Fractures in Time update. However, the company has stated that it intends for new content to be in the pipeline and testable shortly following the release of the latest update. In keeping with that promise, the upcoming update will be available for testing on the game’s public test realm shortly. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the update and are hoping that it will be available to play soon.
