The Lava Agni 2 5G will feature a curved display panel and come with a quad rear camera setup. Live images leaked previously revealed that the camera setup is housed in a large circular camera module towards the top of the back panel. The teaser released by Lava shows a similar design. All four cameras, including an LED flash, are expected to be housed within this module with the primary rear camera using a 50-megapixel sensor. The front camera is expected to have a 16-megapixel sensor.

The phone will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 900) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also expected to come in a shiny blue-green shade, as seen in the official teaser. However, a second colour option may also be offered.

Processor and Storage

The Lava Agni 2 5G is confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, which is a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1080 chipset. The chipset is expected to come with an octa-core processor and will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The phone is also likely to run Android 13 out-of-the-box.

Battery and Charging

The phone will reportedly have a 5,000mAh battery unit with 44W wired charging support. It is also expected to come with a USB Type-C charging port.

Price and Availability

The Lava Agni 2 5G is expected to launch at a price of around Rs. 20,000, as per an earlier report. The phone is confirmed to be exclusively available for purchase through Amazon. Previously, Lava launched the Agni 5G in a single 8GB + 128GB storage variant at a price of Rs. 19,999. The phone is currently only available in a Fiery Blue colour option and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.
