Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind the popular multiplayer game Dead by Daylight, is set to release its new game Meet Your Maker on April 4 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Described as a new spin on the building-and-raiding genre, Meet Your Maker is set in a post-apocalyptic future and will include a variety of tools and weapons to master. PS Plus subscribers will have access to the game on launch day for free, alongside Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Tails of Iron.
Post-Launch Content Plans
According to creative director Ash Pannell, Meet Your Maker will launch with a full arsenal of traps, guards, weapons, Custodians, and other features for players to discover and master. However, Behaviour Interactive has a robust post-launch plan to expand the players’ toolbox even further. The studio aims to keep the gameplay fresh, ever-changing, and always unexpected by adding content to Meet Your Maker regularly.
The first post-launch DLC pack for Meet Your Maker is the Hellscape deco pack. This grisly new aesthetic adds organic matter, industrial materials, pulsing animations, and sinister lighting to the game, making players feel like they’re raiding a living organism. The pack also comes with new mods and augments that players can unlock to enhance their gameplay experience.
The first major content update, Sector 1: Dreadshore, is slated to arrive in late June. The update includes a new environment, a new deco pack, weapon upgrades, new gameplay elements, and more traps. According to Pannell, each new addition is designed to shake up the game’s meta and be themed to match the new Sector.
Dead by Daylight Crossover
To celebrate the launch of Meet Your Maker, Behaviour Interactive has made a crossover with its popular game Dead by Daylight. Players in both games will receive deco packs. Dead by Daylight players will get a Pentekath’s Suit for Meg Thomas and three unique killer weapons, while Meet Your Maker players will receive a Dead by Daylight deco pack.
Meet Your Maker is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the building-and-raiding genre. With its post-launch content plans and Dead by Daylight crossover, the game promises to offer a lot of variety and replayability. Fans of multiplayer games will undoubtedly be looking forward to getting their hands on Meet Your Maker come April 4.
